A review of 165 retail CEOs shows:
📈 CEO pay increased by 39,500 SEK per month on average last year
🏆 The top 50 got 147,000 SEK more per month
👩‍💼 Workers got 3.9%, about 1,100 SEK more per month

Handels says the bosses “live in their own world” and that the pay growth can’t be explained rationally.

📌 Average retail wage in 2025: 182 SEK/hour = 30,194 SEK/month (according to Handels).
