Jippun Lang on the hunt for the best biryani in Singapore. This time, I finally try the biryani institution at Kampong Glam – Islamic Restaurant. This place has a history of 105 years, serving our former PM and current PM in the past. Is it worth it? Let’s find out.

Have you tried Zam Zam?
You should also go visit British Hainan restaurant if you very “detailed” decor.
Islamic is way overrated. I feel the best biryani in SG is Cilantro Biryani Club.
Going to Singapore mid January 2027. Staying in Farrer Park. Will definitely visit this restaurant. Would you be able to showcase Peranakan restaurants? Much appreciated. Thank you.
A good biryani is not about its HERITAGE. No good food is. its what u deliver there and then. if its good then its good. if it isnt…then u will fall back on its heritage to defend it meh? Bodoh peh kambing.
Bryani Paradise .
Try the “Pakistani Bryani” at maxwell hawker.
They have two kinds of rice, the pulao and the bryani rice
Maybe can give Pepper Castle at Holland Village a try
