Norway is investing NOK 17 billion (€1.44 billion) in strengthening its military, including the purchase of K9 VIDAR howitzers and Maritime Mine Countermeasure systems. The funding also supports the expansion of Ørland Air Station and the formation of a new brigade in northern Norway.
