I Paid $40/Night in Singapore… Here’s What I Got

Singapore’s highest-rated capsule hotel has thousands of awesome reviews, so I spent 5 days living there to see if it really deserves them, & whether capsule hotels are actually worth it…

Cube Social Boat Quay ►

At $40 USD/night (price I paid), Cube Social Boutique Capsule Hotel in Boat Quay was one of the best value accommodations in an amazing location I could find in one of the world’s most expensive cities.

In this video, the fantastic hotel manager Ms Terry & I take you on a full tour of the hotel, including the sleeping pods, bathrooms, bar, kitchen, laundry and facilities before sharing my honest thoughts after living here for nearly a week.

Cube Social offers a range of accommodation options, including mixed capsule dorms
female-only capsules, single pods, double pods, private rooms and family rooms for every type of traveller to Singapore.

  • I asked Terry to be in my video & she did a great job! Thanks for having me Cube Social, all the staff were so friendly & made my experience fantastic. This video is NOT sponsored, I was in town for a wedding and paid out of my own pocket ($40 USD/night for 5 nights)

  • Thanks for the informative video. I’ve seen capsule videos before but never ones like these. Great little find in Singapore! #Hyped

  • Wait this is better than renting a room (both around SGD$1000+). But here you get free ac and hotel services

  • This isn’t the type of place we’d typically consider when looking for a hotel, but you (and Terry) have really opened our eyes! What an amazing value, especially considering the location. It looks like a great option for digital nomads visiting for a short stay. Thanks, Jack!

  • the shared bathrooms look really good, very unexpected – definitely changes perspectives! will check this place out on our next visit to Singapore
