South African Police Service (SAPS) has confirmed that it has launched an investigation into the conduct of a police officer who was filmed returning money and apologising after allegedly accepting a bribe in Gauteng.
In a viral video, the female officer is seen handing money back to a motorist, who accuses officers at the scene of taking bribes.
