Parking with self driving is really good, a different stack
Parking works great in USA for us with Juniper – are you on some old version of the software over there?
Meanwhile in china, you can step out of your vehicle outside the entrance and it will DRIVE ITSELF down to negative 3 stories in the parking garage and park it in your spot in your apartment block.
In the future Elon will invent self parking and be first on the market. I guess it will come already “Next Year”
So to me it seems like it’s designed to get right up to the white line at the front of the car, and because of the direction and angle it ends up moving the car out of the space to get more forwards instead of it just trying to squeeze in the middle of the box etc. Seems like they should be able to fix it parking wrongly in situations like that without too much trouble, curious if you were to park to so the cutoff is in the rear if it would park better
Ultrasonic sensors could have sorted out many of the obstacle issues, probably why everyone else uses them.
Dude, i think you got the female spec car
With FSD thos works so much faster and more fluid I think
17:52 “Tesla has some … more or less stagnated.”
This has been my impression of Tesla over the recent years as well. A lot of incremental changes, yes. But any major breakthrough or improvement? Not really.
– Do their main models (i.e. Model 3 and Model Y) use 800 V battery architecture? No.
– Do they have significantly larger batteries? No.
– Do they have significantly more powerful or more efficient motors? No.
– Has the riding comfort been significantly improved? Not quite. They did add adaptive suspension though. But only for the performance models with large wheels. Which in a way negate the impact of this improvement.
– Has the cabin comfort been significantly improved? No.
– Do they cost significantly less? No.
Someone might claim that they have made significant improvements in their driving assist technologies. And yes, perhaps, maybe. But is that enough for them to not be left behind by the (mostly Chinese) competition?
I am unsure about that.
Isabell is a very wellbehaved daughter. Well done! And I see that the sexy strip isn’t stick well. What a shame
