Today, I visit one of the strangest malls I’ve ever seen in Singapore. While walking near City Plaza, I noticed a mysterious-looking mall called Grandlink Square near Paya Lebar MRT. After living in Singapore for 7 years, somehow I had never really noticed this place before.
From the outside, it looks quiet, old-school, and almost like a secret mall. But when I checked the Google reviews, some people called it a “dead mall” while others said it has amazing food.
So I decided to go inside and find out what this place is really like.
The challenge: Can I spend S$100 in a quiet mall?
Let’s explore Grandlink Square, try the food, check out the hidden shops, and see if this forgotten-looking mall is actually worth visiting.

Nobody played CS there before?
Food Food Food Love it!
It’s so strange the things inside are closed… almost all of them. Cuz this building looks so nice it would be nice to actually have things open or also a couple of boutiques etc Then more ppl will come visit and experience this place.
There’s also a Korean restaurant facing the main Guillemard Road beside the bus stop. I’ve tried it before and it is really good.
