Patiently awaiting Model Y standard
Bjørn, when can we expect a 1,000km challenge of the new Tesla Model Y with the new 4680 cells?
I was almost ready to buy a Ioniq 28. But after reading forums and watching videos, I’m too scared to end up with a faulty gearbox or engine bearings.
I will wait few years for second hand Model 3’s Highland to be below 20 000 €.
Hi Nyland, I’ve got a question. Why Tesla not offering a zero regen/coasting? I’m coming from a Hyundai Ioniq 28kwh and BMW i4. Both cars had a great coasting. I’ve got a 2023 Model Y and missing the coasting function very much. I can think of anything why Tesla is not allowing to turn off the regen. I think it would improve the range especially on a long motorway journeys. What is your opinion on this?
Does the Standard still have lamented side Windows?
I drive it now for 2 Months and overall I’m really happy with it. What I don’t like is the Autopilot phantom breaking shit and the seats are not good for my legs. I always get hurt after some time. I don’t know what it is but there’s some pressure to the
Back of the thigh/hamstrings. I didn’t have that with the premium Model
Model 3 standard 2026 is a great car. I test drove it and man it suprised me. Excellent value for the money. I see no reason for going up to premium. Atleast when the difference is 70K Norwegian more. Infact I liked it so much that I ordered one. Fast light, lfp battery too a great pluss.
Tesla buyers require 3-digit IQ. No advertising demands self-research, critical thinking beyond headlines, and resistance to propaganda. For example, most people do no know:
A) The Tesla Model Y has been the best selling car in the world for the last 3 years.
B) Tesla sold more cars worldwide (ICE and EV) in 2025 than: Audi, Mazda, Subaru, Land Rover, Mini, and Porsche.
C) The Model Y is the second best selling BEV in China.
D) Tesla #1 US brand loyalty: 61.1% (S&P Global Mobility Feb 2026), ahead of Subaru (60.5%) and Toyota (59.9%).
E) Tesla Model Y: Holds some of the highest combined scores ever recorded under the Euro NCAP protocol, featuring a 97% rating for Adult Occupant Protection, 87% for Child Occupant Protection, 82% for Vulnerable Road Users, and 98% for Safety Assist.
