British mountaineer William Cecil Slingsby called Slogen “Norway’s prettiest peak” with “the proudest view in Europe” in 1884. The view from the summit is absolutely spectacular – you can see the Hjørundfjorden far below and hundreds of jagged peaks of the Sunnmøre Alps in all directions.

Stay overnight at Patchellhytta cabin (3 km, 750m elevation from cabin to summit)
