There was also a W pattern created on the daily chart, in which normally price goes and test the neckline of the W before any continuation.

Latest COT report on 12/12 shows -3,847 Longs closed, and 1,186 shorts added. The report you used is the old report. And the Daily candle closed far lower than your chart displays
