$16.80 UNLIMITED Dim Sum?! Singapore’s Cheapest All You Can Eat Dim Sum Buffet!

Important info:
You must visit with a minimum of 2pax to make use of this dim sum offer!

$16.80++ for unlimited dim sum — as far as I’ve found, this is the cheapest all-you-can-eat dim sum buffet in all of Singapore. If you know one that beats it, let me know in the comments, I will go check it out myself.

TungLok Tea House at Square 2 Mall (right next to Novena MRT) runs this buffet Monday to Friday, 3pm to 5pm, at $16.80++ per adult. On weekends it’s $21.80++, but you also get a few extra dishes added to the spread — likely still worth it.

The setup itself is half the fun: most of the food comes to your table via a moving train system, sushi-train style, ordered through a QR code at your seat. The rest you grab yourself from a small self-serve station. Two red buttons at your table control the upper and lower deck trays — press one, and your tray heads back for the next order.

I tried everything on the menu — over 20 dishes total, including steamed siu mai, prawn and spinach dumplings, chili oil pork dumplings, BBQ pork buns, salted egg yolk buns, braised fish maw soup, beef tendon in spicy sauce, deep-fried yam croquettes, ee-fu noodles, Yangzhou fried rice, steamed chicken claws, skewers, herbal eggs, chili prawns, fried snacks, and dessert.

My honest take on standouts: the steamed prawn and spinach dumplings, the BBQ pork bun, and the deep-fried yam croquettes were genuine highlights. A few dishes were just okay — but for $16.80++, with this much variety and quantity, it’s genuinely hard to complain.

Singapore has a reputation for being expensive — this channel exists to prove that’s not always true. Every week, I hunt down the best value buffets, deals, and hidden food gems across the island — great for locals, and honestly a must-try for any tourist wanting a proper dim sum experience without the fine-dining price tag.

  • So singles can forget about it, not welcome. Why Malaysia doesn’t have dim sum buffet ? In fact dim sum is very expensive and a luxury in Malaysia.
