WATCH: Strong rand, elevated weather-related claims weigh on Sanlam

Sanlam has reported a 16% decline in interim headline earnings, as higher weather-related claims, as well as rand strength, which reduced the translated value of earnings from businesses outside South Africa, weighed on its performance.
