I found a hawker drink stall in Singapore selling drinks for just $0.30. Yes, thirty cents. In 2026.
This old-school stall is Sun Kee Drinks at Kovan 209 Market & Food Centre, and it recently went viral for its unbelievably low prices. But of course, cheap doesn’t always mean good – so I went down to Kovan to try it for myself.
In this video, I check out the $0.30 drinks, see whether they actually taste good, and explore the hawker centre to find out what else is worth eating there.
Is this Singapore’s cheapest hawker stall? And more importantly, how long can prices like this still survive?
If you know another super cheap hawker stall in Singapore, let me know in the comments.

That means drinks they really profit a lot, that’s why most of the time I just buy drinks from value dollar nearby if have
Like my house coffee shop downstairs have value dollar or giant I just buy there when dabao food
That prawn mee stall is relatively new.
Oh oh!j if you like soon kueh and gu chye kueh you need to eat from Ah Yong Teochew kueh nearby on upper Serangoon road. They are made by aunties and are large and delicious!
Really cheap!
This is where I frequent once a week after footy! I don’t queue for this anymore but the auntie knows her regulars like I once was. The queue was just too long and I wanna go home quick.
They are very very nice people and they deserve all the best things including great health!
Really meh is used to cast doubt, the singlish vocab to express surprise or shock is, “I stun like vegetable”
Correct me if I’m wrong. From what I heard, older hawker stalls who inherited from their 1st gen family member are able to keep their rent rate super low….like in the hundreds…as compared to some who bid for the stalls or somehow rent from the owner paying thousands. Plus their supplier is able to keep the price low for them (the couple were interviewed before by some other blogger or media).
These older stall owners can operate lesser days due to their lower rents as well (this is the case for the hawker stalls in my estate).
That soon kueh stall looks familiar, they have an outlet at People’s Park?
