Don’t buy the Tourist Pass in SINGAPORE 🇸🇬

🇸🇬 The Singapore Tourist Pass is a special EZ-Link card that offers tourists unlimited travel* on
Singapore’s basic bus services, MRT and LRT trains for the duration that it is valid.

✅ But buying the basic EZ-Link card is much more cost effective for most tourists.

1. Tourist Pass is available for approx SGD 30 for 3 days and provides unlimited travel on Singapore’s public buses, MRT, and LRT trains.
❌ Beware – Tourist Pass does not work on sentosa express.

2. The EZ-Link card costs SGD 12, inclusive of SGD 7 stored value and is valid for 5 years from the date of purchase. Provides access to public buses, MRT, and LRT trains in Singapore including sentosa express ✅

e.g. If you are in Singapore for 7 days and use only MRTs and buses, it would cost you approx SGD 1-2 per trip depending on distance. Consider maximum SGD 5 per day to travel to multiple places which totals to 7*5 = 35 SGD which is much cheaper than a tourist pass worth 7 days which would cost you more than SGD 60. 🤑

💰💰Bonus Tip to save even more: 💰💰
If you plan to get a sim card in Singapore, opt for 2 in 1 EZ-link Card that includes a sim-card which costs about SGD 18 for 28 days. (We got it for SGD 12 due to discounts on Klook.com)
