The US Dollar put in a massive move last week as rate cut bets got pushed into 2025, leading to strong breakouts in the USD and USD/JPY, along with EUR/USD finally pulling back from the 1.1200 level that it couldn’t break through in September.
In the webinar, I looked at strategy around the USD via EUR/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD and GBP/USD, with each section time stamped below.
For Gold, a pullback showed up right around the time of the webinar and I’m still tracking the 2600 level for support potential. I also looked at stocks, as S&P 500 Futures remain very near the resistance that’s stalled the move so far and, interestingly, rate cut expectations getting pushed into 2025 haven’t seemed to take much effect here; not yet at least. Nasdaq futures still lag behind both the S&P 500 and Dow.
