🇸🇪 Record applications for Sweden’s new return grant
In just one month, 272 people applied for the newly increased “återvandringsbidraget”. It is more than in all of 2025.
💰 350,000 SEK per adult👶 25,000 SEK per child
But so far not a single application has been approved ❌
Most rejections were due to:✅ Wrong residence status✅ Debts with Kronofogden or CSN
The reform only started on January 1, 2026. The government says it’s too early to draw conclusions.
