The location you stay is Geylang which is a red light area in SG. Those Indians you saw most of them are foreign workers, they look funny but most of them are harmless. But I still recommend u not to stay in Geylang while you’re traveling alone.
greetings from Singapore! we do have a slightly cooler period during monsoon season. where it rains more and more windy! Hotel price can be expansive! food and transport price can be quite good! ( depending on what you eat and where! ) especially in non touristy places. thanks for sharing your experience and safe travels! Edit : next time if you come to singapore. Try Boon Tong Kee Chicken rice. not many locals eat Tian Tian ( we find it average )

熱中症なるくらい暑いとはしんどい観光でしたね 無理せず休むが一番 お疲れ様でした
