BEE and the Chokehold it has on the South African Economy

Over the past fifteen years, South Africa’s economy has stopped growing in any meaningful way, while other countries with similar starting points have moved forward. Policies like Black Economic Empowerment, which were meant to fix the unfair system created by apartheid, have mostly helped a small group of wealthy individuals instead of the broader population. These policies, along with poor government decisions, have limited the country’s ability to grow its economy. In this video, I will explore how much money South Africa may have lost because of these problems and how these policies may be holding the country back.

  • Their modernising of the railroad is more Gautrains, which the ordinary can’t afford. It is for the connected view.

  • Terrible greedy selfish cruel government. Approving the killing of specifically the ordinary whites in this country. Bullying them out of everything in this country. Treating us like criminals everywhere we go.

  • South Africa has a new electricity crisis affecting millions of householdsSouth Africa faces a growing electricity crisis due to municipal mismanagement of the distribution network, threatening recent progress in power supply.

  • Other countries are growing, moving forward and modernising their economy with a forward looking mindset. Sadly SA is moving backwards and is stuck in the dark ages. Our politicians are unfortunately out of depth and has no clue of economics, budgets and ethics. There is a lack of leadership imo
