Norges Bank Raises Key Rate 50 Basis Points to 3.75%

Norway’s central bank pledged more aggressive tightening as it lifted its key deposit rate on Thursday by 50 basis points to 3.75%, the 11th hike in its benchmark since September 2021. Valerie Tytel reports on Bloomberg Television.

  • Why is it okay for the banks to inflate their rates and make millions, causing working people to lose their homes? The banks are crooks. They cause inflation in cooperation with the politicians, making billions by brainwashing and tricking through the media pretending they are actually only raising rates to ‘help’ the people.

  • Hopefully inflation will slow and end up reversing some what, but who really knows what will happen down the road
