Loonie dropping because U.S. economy burning hotter: economist | Canada Tonight

Economist Armine Yalnizyan says the falling loonie is ‘challenging’ for consumers but stresses the reason for its drop has less to do with political turmoil and more with the ‘divergence’ between the Canadian and U.S. economies. The U.S. dollar is affecting ‘every currency’ in the world, she adds.
