Singapore to invest S$25b in research, innovation and enterprise over next 5 years

Singapore will invest S$25 billion in research, innovation and enterprise over the next five years to future-proof the country against crises like COVID-19. That is about 1 per cent of its GDP each year and S$6 billion more than the previous budget. The research roadmap, dubbed RIE 2025, covers new areas like maximising human potential.
