At the official opening of Airbus’s sprawling new campus in Seletar on Nov 20, Trade and Industry Minister Chan Chun Sing said the Republic must pivot to new areas of growth as the sector plots its post-pandemic recovery. The new campus has so far cost Airbus more than S$38 million. The new space will also function as the regional hub for Airbus’ commercial aircraft, defence, space and helicopter businesses. It will also be home to a branch of the global Airbus Leadership University.
