Yes Japan Is cheaper than definitely Singapore and many other countries.
However there are too many indelicacy foreigners come to Japan.
So please stop promoting Japanese houses in English to foreigners in Japan and overseas!!!!

If you don’t mind the commute or spending weekends in the countryside, you could buy a farm and mansion in Japan for the price of a small apartment in Singapore.
I am already convinced to move and invest in homes there next year. I am just waiting for a parabolic bull run in the Cryptocurrency market. Then I am off on the next flight to Japan.
here is an another point for those out there. this is just the AVERAGE and not median pay for Singaporean. an average 4 room government made apartment can set you off somewhere at 400 to 500k sgd.

I just spent 4days in Singapore, 9 days in Japan(Yokohama), and then 10 days in Taiwan.
In all honesty, I much prefer Japan over the other two countries. The culture appeals to me more.

3BR apt rent in SG is at least SGD6,500. Even 1BR, you will pay north of SGD3,000
