ABOUT ME:
I started solo travelling in 2013 and left Indonesia in 2016 to pursue full-time travelling while at the same time documenting my journey as I explore different cultures as a solo female traveller.

Having initially travelled for 5 months throughout Asia, I moved to China in January 2017 for an English teaching job, which was my first experience living abroad.

Since leaving China in 2018, I have taken the move to become a full-time YouTube creator and traveller. I strive to create unique, culture-driven content and capture authentic interactions as I travel.

  • Thank you so much for watching! If you’re interested in an amazing adventure travel opportunity, I’m hosting my first ever group tour to Pakistan in 2024. There’s an discount for those who sign up in December, so take a look here if it sounds like something you’d like to be involved with 🙂

  • Why can’t you mention the name of the hawker centre in the description. So much nonsensical talking without any important information

  • Nice to feature Bedok and Golden Mile hawker centres as it is more known to locals. The pan fried pork dumplings or guo tie, we usually eat it with black vinegar and ginger slices. Cheong fun is a canton food essentially. There should have a fried chilli oil paste at the side for your cheong fun. You should eat that with it instead of the soy sauce and cut chillies.

For the beef noodles and other soupy food, we dip the chilli sauce as we eat instead of pouring everything into the soup 😀 The lime is added to the chilli sauce.

Siew dai means less sweet as it can mean reduced condensed milk or sugar, depending on the type of drink ordered.

Did you try other cuisine like Malay/Indian or Nonya?

  • Hai namaste from Nepal currently in japan I’m so happy I saw you both of you in same frame after Nepal vlogs ❤.i like to see more this kind of vlog ❤
