2022 Ford F-150 Raptor Review // The Nissan GTR Of Trucks

The 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor ($109,439 CAD as specced, ~$80,385 USD as specced) aims to be the answer to all your Baja racing needs. Unlike its fellow F-150 family members, the Raptor has five-link rear suspension, fox shocks, and massive 37-inch tires to help handle high-speed desert racing. It also has the most wheel travel of any Raptor ever made. If all of that doesn’t make you forgive the V6 engine, the exhaust sound just might. Also, with all of those extra upgrades rooted in Baja 1000 racing, how will it handle the road? Watch to see what Thomas and James think! SUBSCRIBE!

  • I don’t know about anyone else, but when I say I want a V8 Raptor, I’m not talking about a crazy supercharged V8 with 900hp that will cost an extra $30-40k over the already unaffordable “normal” model. I’d like a V8 with similar power to the V6TT for similar money, personally.

  • The question remains do you recommend the Raptor over the TRX? Or are they made for slightly different missions that make them unique enough to have to judge what your intentions are? I DO agree the width/height ratio on the Raptor is a great look, sure footed but still aggressive, compared to the TRX which for me has busy elements making it look like a Hot Wheels rather than a real truck.
ALL THAT SAID, you have the best banter of any car review channels bar none! Very entertaining, almost as much fun as the Trae Crowder ensemble.

  • A new ford and the interior still looks dated, and the ride is good but does not beat the ram with air suspension-hell even the coils are good.
